This nation can only be transformed one way (this I speak concerning desirable change). It’s not going to be changed by those on the street shouting on top of their voice, proclaiming their rights, and the wrongs of those in the lead.
This nation can only be changed by a people whose faces are hidden- because they are facing down
It will not be on the high street, in courts or other kinds of intelligent, well-tutored forums. But it will be in pits, caves, mountains and closets where the power of change will emanate from.
Not by shoutings or banners, ballots or bullets, but through sobs and silent whispers of prayer in secret places can our calamity be overturned. -
